If Warner Bros. is hoping for 2013's Man of Steel to carry the torch left behind by Chris Nolan's Dark Knight trilogy, they're off to the right start.
Early last week, the studio debuted the first full trailer online (second overall when counting the summer's shorter teaser trailer) and it immediately made waves throughout the Internet. In fact, within 24 hours the film was tracking as highly as The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey - during the middle of its release week - on our daily Twitter tracking.

Don't worry. I've threatened people into reading it.
That might be what it takes for a Superman movie these days...

Prediction based on trackings like twitter activity will always mislead, as was the case with TH1 just recently.

If the movie succeeds or fails, the credit or blame should be Snyder's. I know some people who say "I like that Nolan is involved but i am sure that Snyder will screw it up" almost assuming that Snyder will not be giving this his all to ensure the movie works and works well.

Sorry, meant Story, not script.
I dunno how much he was involved in coming up with the story. Do you?

This is the most detailed explanation of his role on the movie in his own words: http://herocomplex.l...tastic-story-1/

Sounds like Goyer came up with the story. Nolan is just shepherding the project as a producer. Sure, he might throw in ideas but to say it's his story would be wrong.

I think the 2nd Trailer is genuinely stirring, I was moved by it. SUPERMAN is a childhood favorite of mine but like a lot of kids, you grew up. But this one, judging from the 1st teaser and the 2nd one, promises something special. In Nolan We (Still) Trust..?
Oh boy.. Here we go: If the movie looks good and does well, we credit Nolan for it but if it sucks and doesn't do well, we blame Zack Snyder for it, right???? This love affair today's generation has for Nolan is downright Gay.. I'm sorry but it is.. Really, Snyder shouldn't be sold short on this in favor of more Nolan stroking..

"Gale must’ve gone to Cray’s house, as he’s done a hundred times, knowing Cray always pays well for a wild turkey. Instead he found the new Head Peacekeeper, a man they heard someone call Romulus Thread."

Doesn't mean anything. Any trailer based on material which has a fanboy-base will show noticeable twitter activity.
Prediction based on trackings like twitter activity will always mislead, as was the case with TH1 just recently.
I very much agree.
The Dark Knight Rises
Batman (89)
The Dark Knight
Batman Begins
