Anyone heard of Snowden? Apparently someone who claims that has an early version of this film's script from early 2012 and has been spoiling bits from it across many Godzilla forums, YouTube channels, etc. He lately seemed to turn reliable as some of the things he spilled where somewhat confirmed in the main trailer.

Yeah, suprised at how accurate he wss.

Hey Shawn buddy, but rem this is Godzilla which is a brand loved by North  America and the world, its been long enough I think for folks to forget the abomination zilla 98 film..

If they keep doing this kind of job I cant see it not getting a main even sort of OW.

Im giving its range of 85-130(hoping for over 130 though)>.Godzilla doesnt feel huge to you yet bud??  :-/

Or your waiting for TW's last effort advertising before May 16th.. I think Godzilla will also captialize

on the ole Jurassic Park Awe factor too... The teaser Trailer and Trailer 2 are beyond awesome.

I just have a hard time seeing a reboot of a dormant franchise do monster numbers on opening weekend. $100m is probably the ceiling I'd give it, but still, I'd consider anything over $50m impressive given the circumstances. I do think WB has something special up their sleeve though, so, I'm not assigning any official predictions just yet. All I can say is this feels like a movie that deserves conservative expectations, but ultimately, has the best shot of any summer movie (so far) to really break out.

Hopefully with a better multiplier, says Warner Bros. ;)

Lol my friend asked why Ken Watanabe always play this guy who seems to always be in deep self reflection and a tragic hero

I was like isn't that just how Japanese men normally act like.

Well Im glad your slowly coming around good buddy. :D (CHeers!!) Hopefully even my expectations will be met on this one :).

If it breaks out and challenges Transformers, thats going to be one hell of a success story for TW and Legend(Not so sure how TW will win over Legend to do a sequel if this film turns out to be a force of nature just like its names sake though)

Unless they have it in the  contract that TW gets first dibs on sequels of course ;)  (Unfortunately they have gone into bed with Universal now-EEP !) Going to miss the WB/Legend one-two punch Shaw and our fellow Godzilla warriors.  I guess from here on out WB does it along for their  pending DC universe as well.

Hell yeah they would like Im sure at least 180-250M for this domestically.. lol. Especially since some of the moolah is going to Legend domestically and WW..

Heres a cool Youtube fan film on hoover boards and a suprise person pulls up to help sell it.. Had folks fooled for a minute there..lol Hope you all enjoy it :)

Hah Hah Hwood likes to stereotype, but Ken W. has shaken that off quite a bit. He played a different character in BB, and definitely showed range in Last Summerai with Tom Cruise.. And I heard his foreign films rock. Ive only seen Ken in domestic films I think.

Was Ken W. in the film the Killer?

Not 140M, maybe up to 120M. Adjusting doesn't work when figuring out future installments. Godzilla adjusts to 76M which would be under 100M with 3D and opened in May.

Yeah predicted 125-130M OW, Lowend 83 M :).. I think Shawn and others are just about to break and start predict 75-100+M OW though Neo.. I cant wait for the trailer 3 and 4..:)(well if they have a 4th)

A lot of stuff from his supposed leaked script have been hinted at in the trailer, which really intrigued me.

From the Toho Kingdom forums:

Some photos and info of the Godzilla scoring sessions that I thought you all might be interested in.

http://t.co/JLatPiq0wg
This first one is of the choir, all 80 of them. This is the largest choir Desplat has used in a soundtrack to date. In fact, it is a pretty hefty sized choir to use on any soundtrack.

http://t.co/aVe3dTv7zD
This next one is a snapshot of the vocal score. As you can tell by the notation, it would appear that at some point in the score we will be getting something similar in style to Ligeti's Requiem that has been featured predominantly in the marketing campaign.

http://t.co/fu9AOKF941
Lastly, a photo of Desplat himself. Here he is recording, what I am told, a piano solo for the film.

The only thing that matters score wise is that Ifukube's classic theme is used.

Maybe put it at the end like Casino Royale did to such great effect.

Kidding?? TDAT was huge, Its OW adjusts to 92m today without factoring 3d and IMAX which would take it over 100m, I don't see Godzilla opening that high.
