Why is Godzilla's average ticket price so high ? Just marginally below 1.500 yen per ticket.

Doesn't the above the placement for Pokémon and Marnie go against what was mentionned by the link: http://www.hollywood...-comes-721560#2

It correctly indicated that Edge of Tomorrow was tenth with Godzilla and Maleficient first and second respectively.

They're reporting rankings by admissions.  Pokemon XY was third in admissions, ahead of Marnie, but Marnie is third in gross.

How much has Pokemon earned?

Its number isn't available yet, but it should be at 800/900 million ($8/9 million).

Its 3D share, while not great, wasn't too bad.  And it also likely attracted a greater male audience than female (by greater I mean maybe 60% or so), and probably few people under the age of 40.

If a film doesn't attract enough young people (school age or younger), women, or seniors citizens, then its average ticket price will be quite high since those demographics mentioned receive the most available ticket discounts.
