Almost all the major sequels are opening in May 2013. The rest of Summer will be a huge question mark. They need to spread it out more.

^Because most sequels are in May, I expect breakouts from June and July.

May 2013 is looking a lot like may 2007, too many big sequels all with the potential to open 100m+, they should move some films around but seeing as how everything else is already taken that probably won't happen.

Here's my prediction for now
121/300 dom 550m OS
If you're going through hell, KEEP GOING.

300 M is a tough number. I'm not even sure with 230 M.

But they need some guarantees.

Well they may not be sequels but big names are behind them.

If it were able to get to a 121m OW it would only need the same legs as fast five to get to 300m and even if doesnt it will probably come close.

But it could still be Hangover 3 on opening weekend.

I think so. Fast Six is coming off the goodwill of Fast Five, while Hangover 3 is coming off the underwhelming Hangover 2.

I don't think "underwhelming" is the best word. It still made 250 M plus, more than what FF did despite being rated R.

They should have combined Hangover 3 and Fast 6 into one mega sequel.

It still left an underwhelming taste in people's mouths. And Fast Five made more WW.
