So RIPD: O/U 65% drop?

I imagine RIPD will have the biggest drop-but who knows Conjuring could considering the track record of these types of films.

While Turbo I see around a 40% drop, Red 2 I will say 45%.

Zyzzyx Road: OW-10 dollars
Total gross-20 dollars

Who were Henry the VIII and the Duke of Earl? Unsure-but they must of been great to have songs about them.

Wolverine: 70 mil.
From Mango:
Everyone has something to be confident about. Even if it's stupid and pointless and entirely irrelevant, there is probably something you do better than everyone you know.

Except that Conjuring's IM was way better than The Purge. Though most horror films are front-loaded, I think Conjuring can still have over $20M in its sophomore weekend on its way to $100M+ total. Red 2 might go under $10M in its 2nd weekend.

Part of me is still in vacation mode right now :P
Anyway-I see a 50% drop for now.

You know, considering The Purge couldn't even get a 2x multiplier with Summer weekdays, I hate to see how bad it's multiplier would of been if it was in early January.

The biggest drop of the weekend will be MoS when Wolverine absolutely crushes it. :stirthepot:

well there's a difference the purge had poor reviews and mixed word of mouth and conjuring which I saw on Friday pretty scary movie has an A- on CinemaScore I know that doesn't matter but unusual for a horror flick and really not a huge horror drop for it

I'm thinking The Wolverine should open to about $65 million. It's a little disappointing to see the reviews are kind of mixed so far, but I'm still hoping it delivers the goods.
